so... he grew some lip fuzz?

Limbaugh finds a way to make fun of a couple black folks, turns it into righteous indignation about these so-called "model citizens" for Obama and the Democrats (as Limbaugh phrases it), and it speaks to CSI. No surprises there.

Oh, and of course this little segment is not about race. That's just me making that up. /sarcasm.
    1. clioandme
Yes, sure, "the" supporters. Right. But you gotta have your Feindbild (image of the enemy, bogeyman), I suppose. Great way to do politics.

And thank God all GOP voters are as well informed as their VP candidate last year.
(But that's a low blow. Many are much better informed than Palin.)
    2. csiunatc
Well at least you admitted to injecting race where that was never mentioned.

So... some poor people didn't know how the wheels of government operate. Sad, yes. A political issue in of itself? I'm not so sure.
    1. csiunatc
Not really a political problem, at least not past the point that they can actually vote...

It does give one possible explanation as to why some fail in understanding the true cost of things like tax funded healthcare etc.
    2. Agit8r
I wouldsay that the healthcare debate is pretty complicated, and that there is a lot of misunderstanding on either side, to say the least.

Do you think there ought to be some sort of qualifying test for voting fitness?
    3. csiunatc
Yes, it is complicated, but it's hard to discuss the issues of cost benefit when the opposition thinks welfare comes from Obamas "Stash".

The problem with a democracy is that you get people that have no business voting, doing just that. (As the videos clearly show)

On the other hand, any limiter to that system is bound to create more problems than it would solve.

In a perfect world, I'd like to see a benign, corruption free, super intelligent, completely fair group of individuals as leaders. But we both know that this is not realism.

"Democracy is the worst form of government, except for all those other forms that have been tried from time to time."

That was people waiting to vote? I assumed that it was from the recent stimulus rally... whatever thing there:

No those were people that said "that's why we voted for him".

Listen to the tape again, you can hear the one chanting OBama in the background say it.

Irony alert: In order to make fun of the credulousness of the people in the audio of the OP, we have to be credulous towards the frame in which Rush and the imitative OP locate it. We have to suspend thought in order to make fun of people for not thinking. Nice.
    1. csiunatc
Oh yes, just like ACORN thinks that the possible illegal act of filming someone without their knowledge somehow makes the act caught on film completely unimportant.

LOL... The new tactic of the Dem's Ready, Aim, SHOOT THE MESSENGER!!!
    2. clioandme
Doesn't the word "messenger" presuppose a message of some sort?
    3. csiunatc
Maybe you need to go back to listen to the broadcast again. I'll help you out if you still don't get it.
    4. csiunatc
Oh, and please explain how we would have to suspend thought in order to make fun of those that aren't thinking? Besides, these people are obviously thinking, they're just not very good at it.
