What do folks think about the drastic drop in car sales, especially SUVs?

People Power Granny tonight is amazed that the big car manufacturers weren't ready to offer consumers more small cars to buy since folks have to drive small cars these days that get zillions of miles on a tank of gas. But, they say they were caught off guard when consumers' choices changed. So what happens next? Do we bail out the Big Three or just let them die quickly? Vote in my poll and let me know the kind of vehicle you prefer to drive.

Since I walk almost everyday everywhere I go, I have a hard time feeling sorry for our car makers, but I do feel sorry for those who are employed in the vehicle manufacturing business. Their jobs are in danger now.
