I pick Michelle Bachman. She's one of the nuttiest of the nut-jobs.

    E) Barack Hussein Obama,

Just let him keep going, there is no way this country will be Democrat again for the next 40 years after he is done.

Chuck Norris is a Republican! I am so heartbroken!

Yes, who would have guessed by watching "Walker Texas Ranger"

    Bobby Jindal, hands down.

The boy doesn't like to debate and he talks to America the same way he talks to Louisiana (like children). If Republicans gripe about a teleprompter now, good god wait until they get a real look at Jindal. He's conservative insofar as tax cuts and making cuts in other areas of the state budget, including education, but he's also friends with the religious right wing nuts. If you want those religious folks to keep hijacking your party, stick with Palin or Jindal. I personally don't see how you guys can put up with them controlling your party. If you want something that cuts, a pair of scissors certainly has a better personality. Is Johnny Depp available to play a conservative Edward Scissorhands?

If Chuck Norris can be on your list, so can Ted Nugent.

You notice Michael Steele was not on this list. I find that peculiar.
    2. Agit8r
what qualification does Michael Steele possess?

A ton more experience than Obama has for starters.

Then again, he hasn't been a community organizer.

I'll set aside the idea that experience is a matter of personal opinion by many folks on the Right (as illustrated by support behind Sarah Palin) and entertain your question knowing full well it is a matter of opinion and quite possibly, a lesson in futility.

Not only is the man more articulate that the listed choices, but he's been Lieutenant Governor for a number of years and was recently appointed RNC Chairman, which should account for some level of street cred in your Republican ranks. He's apparently been dedicated to the Republican way of thinking for a number of years. Although I find him to be an arse, he certainly does believe in party line policies. Even though it appears he had academic trouble in college (as if academic performance means much - see GW Bush), he attended both Johns Hopkins and Georgetown. There are aspects of his personal life that would play well with the electorate. In light of the other choices, it stands to reason that perhaps you should consider someone who is known to be a much better public speaker. Just a good place to start.

As a Dem and a fan of late night comedy, I'm not opposed to you guys picking any of the others as it will make for good entertainment.

Of course, you could go with csi and find somebody who is adept at blaming Obama for everything.

In a recent interview, Steele did say he was not considering making a run for the office, but it sounds like he might consider the notion if offered the chance.

I don't know if Condi is interested, but she seems the most qualified. She would probably lose some points for being National Security Advisor while the bogus yellowcake memo was floating around, but many people might not remember.

      We'll remind them.

A lot of people probably never knew. She's probably too moderate on things like abortion and afirmative action to ever be nominated. She could syphon off some white guilt though

No need to worry about this now. McCain was the last person I would have thought to get the nomination.
