the Aurora. Plus, there's a nice little antique shop right in the middle of town. It's really a charming place-beautiful houses and the lake always in clear sight as you walk down the street.

Tia-have you ever visited Aurora? I think you might like it. It's a lovely little village about 20 miles north of Ithaca. Wells College is there as well as Mackenzie-Childs. It's a great place to visit on a mild, sunny day. It's located right on Cayuga Lake and has a great place to get lunch-

Hi backatcha. I went, I read, I wrote :) this weather we're getting is killing my allergies. some kind of mold caused by the weather. We're hoping to get in a trip next weekend. Even if it's to the 1000 Islands for a day or two, anything before summer ends.

Book store's name is Phoenix. The Bookery in the Dewitt Mall downtown is also very good. Rare stuff. Couldn't figure out which antique shop you meant, though there are several a little ways out of town. Weather, unfortunately, looks crappy for this weekend.

I hope it is too. I also remember visiting an antique place that was more like a cavern of items than a regul;ar prissy antique shop. I mentioned the Festival to my other half last night and it may happen. We have a sale coming up so if it's nice here we're reorganizing the garage first

I think I know the bookstore you mean. It's about a mile before the airport. My wife's best friend worked there for a couple of years. I think it's still there.

yes, we have. it's a lot of fun and we might go if time allows. my younger son looked at Ithaca for college and we spent a lot of time visiting the area. There used to be an awesome used book store, is it gone?

Yes; I'm an Ithacan by way of Arizona by way of Brooklyn. I get the impression you live in Rochester. Next weekend is the Ithaca Festival. Have you ever been? It's lots of fun. Three days of crafts, food and music-all outdoors and free.
