Well im 25 and currently enlisted in the United States Army serving a tour here in good old Baghdad, Iraq. I was inspired by another popular soldier blogging, just before I enlisted, to start my own and to keep a record of my experiences over here. I decided to do this because sometimes I feel that people back home don't really have a true idea of what the war is really like, from the perspective of the boots that are actually on the ground.
