I am a mostly self taught artist with a penchant for vintage & an obsession with turning one thing into something else & reused, recycled items into functional art. I love color & expressing my joy in life through color. I crochet, sew, bind books, make jewelry, paint, draw, create mixed media sculptures, take photographs, make paper art & more. I get my fingers into everything, & I mean everything. I am happiest when my hands are busy. Otherwise I tend to fidget.
Many of my items here are made with the mantra, "reuse, recycle" in mind. & all of my shipping & packing materials (or as much as possible) is reused or recycled in some way!
I love to concoct my treasures from vintage fabrics, furniture, toys, yarn, trinkets, comic books, clothing, bright buttons, paper, jewelry, found objects & charms when possible. & I am always looking for vintage inspired things to add to my creations!
