In work with drug addicts that usually start out on marijuana. I have worked with two recently that are addicted to it. One has lost his family and wife because of his addiction. he recently went a week without it and was drug tested and found to be clear. He says he feels a lot better and more able to deal with problems when not using. The other doesn't even know he is addicted. Its his one topic of conversation. He's waiting to get out of group for his next splif and happily tells me he is. So for you that can have a social smoke I suppose it is OK. You are supporting and illegal anti social culture but if you are OK with that and you don't get caught at work or by the police, you will get by. Work testing will be bthe next big worry for you. As firms downsize they will look for ways not to pay payoffs.
