Bob Tell is a writer who lives in Farmington Hills, Michigan. His first published book is “Dementia Diary—A Caregiver's Journal,” a memoir that uses humor and compassion to describe his widowed mother's sixteen year decline into the opaque fog of dementia.

Bob has written poetry, fiction and non-fiction, including many magazine articles, and a trade newspaper column—and has been invited to read his work at a variety of venues.

He was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and was educated in Public Health and English at Columbia and Long Island Universities. He has held senior management positions at hospitals in New York, New Jersey, Kansas City and Detroit.
