I am a surrealist who create pieces to have subliminal messages for the viewer to discover. The intent is to make messages memorable and deeply appreciated. I exploit art as being an expression, a stimulant and an instrument of shock to provoke minds to seek enlightenment. For me, art is a playground for the imaginative mind who wants to make sense of reality.
My other passion is chess. I have learned the game at the age of seven though my father's tutelage. I have only been in serious tournament competetion since the age of 24. I have won a few tournaments and club champinonships up my sleeve. Through chess I was able to meet fantastic people who became my very good friends. For me, chess is life itself in a surrealistic domain. And yes, as former world champion Karpov once said "Chess as in life, there is always a room for improvement"
I am also a qualified mechanical engineer. I finished my bachelor's degree at Mapua Insitute of Technology in Manila City, Philippines. My forte is project engineering and management which I have refined during my work with The Coca-cola Export Corp and Intel Technologies. I now work at Bradken, an australian steel manufacturing company.
