I have worked in the mental health and participated in psychotherapy, both for more than 20 years. Past diagnosis include Dysthymia, Borderline Personality Disorder, Major Depressive Disorder, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder and Eating Disorder NOS. I have had two hospitalizations for such treatment. I currently have the diagnosis of Major Depressive Disorder and Post-traumatic Stress Disorder due to more than 35 years of repressed memories of neglect, physical, emotional and sexual abuse. I've also had issues with self-injury, suicidal ideation and an eating disorder. My first memory of having a suicidal thought was when I was two. I've been a Christian since 1981.
