My dad once said, "It doesn't matter one bit what you choose to do in life, just make sure you're happy doing it." Words to live by. I love being an image maker. To me, photography is not only the image but the story the photographer is telling. The art of immediate reaction is what pushes me to go somewhere visually I've never been - try things that might not make sense on paper but when captured in a photograph, can't be denied. Being the son of a sculptor/biker dad and hippy chick/biker mom, looking outside the box creatively was never a problem. Whether building a pirate ship from the bones of a rat (true story...ask me about it anytime) or later choosing to study digital animation and special effects makeup - the visual connection has been a part of me since before I can remember.

Currently I'm based in Nashville, applying my love for rich color, thoughtful lighting and, at times, a bit of quirkines to portrait, advertising and fashion photography.

And a bit of additional information you might like to know:

* I love to cook. I create a mean Barbecue Voodoo Shrimp, as well as Seared Tuna with a Orange Soy Sauce and Wasabi Cream.
* I'm a certified scuba diver.
* I love period films. Epic is best.
* Fan of a fine tequila or whisky/whiskey.
* Have a degree in 3D animation and modeling.
