Born and raised in Guelph, Ontario, Canada I have had an interest in religion and spiritual matters as long as I can remember. I've been writing in one form or another for most of the last 10 years and the blogging just seemed a natural extension of that.

I've decided that starting in Jan 2009 I will post to "Myriad Shades of Gray" only for the foreseeable future. It will encompass all of the things I blogged about before only this time all in one blog. Sometimes it will be about the Bible and faith, sometimes about church history, sometimes about theatre or cycling all the various things that go into making me who I am. In short it will live up to it's name - Myriad Shades of Gray... Dennis Gray.

I have also decided to start posting to the 'Java and Jesus' blog again. Matthew's gospel still calls to me and I can no longer ignore it.
