Hi, I'm Debbie. I'm a Professional Organizer and a recovering perfectionist. I blog about easy and creative ways to organize your household and simplify your life. My goal is to help others spend less time looking for things and feeling overwhelmed and more time doing the things they LOVE.
A lot of what I write about stems from my experiences as a breast cancer survivor (I was diagnosed at the "young" age of 34). My daughters were just 4 and 7 at the time and they watched me go through it all--bilateral mastectomy, chemo (and baldness), and radiation. I knew that the experience would leave a lasting impression on them, but I vowed to also teach them other lessons as a result: the importance of simplicity, acceptance of oneself regardless of your flaws and letting go of always striving for perfection.
