I am the author of Everything Changes: The Insider's Guide to Cancer in Your 20s and 30s. Diagnosed with cancer at age 27, after treatment I ditched my hospital gown and hit the road. I met with scores of young adult cancer patients and recorded our one-on-one conversations. From the Big Apple to the Bible Belt we talked talked about survivorship, dating, sex, money, health insurance, end-of-life, and everything in between.
I'm a proactive patient and love sharing in my book and blog insider tips, stories, and advice for how to work the system and live a life in the face of challenge.
