OK, so I'm no photographer, merely a 'Happy Snapper' and more than content to wear that badge, having recorded photographs for thirty years that are personal, global, insular and universal. My images will never win favour nor contests, nor will they change the world or bring about world peace, but they give me pleasure.....

The lens, I hope, reflects the beauty and tragedy that my eyes have witnessed, nothing more or less.

And me?

I am an optimistic realist who despises mankind, the dumb ape for his single handed destruction of so much of this fragile and beautiful Earth that I believe he is privileged to enjoy. I love Mother nature, and wish that people would talk and not fight, and live every moment of their short existence as though it were their last. Peace, not war. Love, not hate.

If my images please, then I am happy, if they do not, then I am sorry

I am an honest man but deeply flawed, much like my photographs I guess. I am intolerent at times, pig headed, outspoken, infuriating, but I love and care, I enjoy life, I am humbled by nature's beauty.

Take me as I am, for I cannot change my make up or psyche, nor do I really want to.
