I am a sinner saved by God's sovereign grace. Just is my condemnation. Guilty was my plea. I am undeserving, ill-deserving, hell-deserving. O, I could not understand why He would still look as such unto me. While a mass of corruption, a heap of sin, Christ died for me? For someone like me? Despite the darkness that I loved, the devil that I served, the hate that I ensued, the rebellion I cast against Him, the God of Creation still chose to love me. He chose to Save me. He looked upon the deadness of my soul and gave me life. He looked upon my sin, and instead of wretchedness, He saw the perfection of His Son. It is more than my heart can ever bear, the gratitude I have for God. From the Hell that was for me, He gave His only Son.

I need no other argument,
I need no other plea,
It is enough that Jesus died,
And that He died for me.
