Like Sam Shepard, I've never gotten over growing up in the West, yet somehow find myself living on the edge of the Mississippi. I miss the desert and big sky horizons, but am learning to love trees. I'm new to blogging, but am a published writer. My blog posts are essays on life, death, society, and culture as told through the things that surround me.
