I'm Gary Boomershine, chief executive officer of SalesTeamLive and Publisher of GaryBoomershine.com and Boomer's Blog.

I've been involved in real estate and REI from a very young age. My parents owned a private real estate brokerage firm in the San Francisco Bay area when I was growing up, so I naturally became a licensed real estate agent to work my way through the University of California at Davis in the late 1980s. Because the real estate game seemed to me at the time to be the "family business," I chose to study technology, and worked long, hard hours to make a name for myself in that business.

After college, I spent five years at Andersen Consulting, helping retail, manufacturing and technology companies to reorganize and rebrand. I directed sales teams and managed Fortune 500 accounts. I also built four start-up companies from scratch. I became an expert trouble shooter and a master at problem solving.
