I have been writing poetry since 1970 but I was
never very successful until May of 2005 when I
was suddenly able to write what I wanted to write in the way I wanted to write it . I am a
rhythm and rhyme poet . I believe that rhythm and rhyme is the only way to express yourself in a true poetic manner . This is because I believe the sound of a poem is the essential element in creating the beauty that distinguishes poetry from all other forms of expression .
