Hey there, welcome to my humble little blog. You can call me Shep. I'm a simple, single gamer from the Mid-West. I'm just your average person, living my life. I am 23 years old, and compared to most 23 year old college-ish males, I like to think I'm a little bit less than average. I went to school studying theology and am continuing my education in the IT field, Computer Network Administration.

I believe in the triune God as depicted in scripture. A God of love, forgiveness, and acceptance. But please, don't write me off already. I am hardly conservative and am hardly liberal. My faith is my direction in my life, but I am not about to judge someone, nor force feed my life philosophies down another person's throat. I believe all are loved by Him and no person is greater than another.

I currently work a side job in the area of social services. I mentor, volunteer, and scrape cash to get by sometimes. Of course, my full-time job is being the personal aide to my feline boss, Artemis. It doesn't pay well, and my overlord doesn't support pay raises. I think we both need a reality check in the employment realm.

This blog is my humble attempt to make my life look semi-interesting. My life is interesting to me, but probably not to everyone at first glance. I'm a contemplative person who enjoys trying new things and hopes this blog will help bring those sides of me out to those who will listen.

I am a huge nerd. After all, the title of this blog shows my passion for video games of all things. However, I hope to show I am more than just another nerd. I love to sing, draw, take photographs, read, abuse commas, cook, make cynical/sarcastic/witty remarks, bicycle, drink coffee, laugh at myself, converse, and much, much more. I love many things but I am certainly what you would call a "master of none." This is a place to share my efforts, passions, and failed attempts (cooking).

So please, come in, stay awhile, and connect with me. This is my life, simple, yet exciting in it's own ways.
