I'm very happily married to my angelic wife, Kathleen, a devout Christian.

My profession is journalism and I am a member of the Society of Professional Journalists.

I was graduated with honors (magna cum laude) from Humboldt State University in 1985 with a journalism degree.

Most recently, I was the managing editor for a now-defunct daily.

My wife and I have seven children between us and many grandchildren.

I'm a Bahá'í. I have seven personal blogs, plus one on Bleacher Report, but my favorite is Daysprings of Glory.
