Time to blog is another bold attempt at broadening the scope of education beyond the classroom environment and into the blogworld. It is relatively new and the feel of the blog is one trying to establish an identity and head towards a specific direction. That being the case, it is refreshing to find the blogger to be always willing to experiment with a wide range of topics. Thus the rock-climbing post at the banner when I visited. You could sense that with such an educator sharing his out of the text-book experiences, people would be easily drawn to the 'unconventional' classroom he creates. Time to blog is one blog where each time you visit is time well-spent.

Visiting this blogs creates a sense of being into something special. I am hooked into it not by the profound character of its content because there is hardly anything of that sort. Rather I am amazed and enthralled by the way the blogger makes even the simplest things which we take for granted appear so profound and relevant. This blog weaves a fine thread of humanity that I always yearn to experience in all my blogging moments that's why I love it...

This blog makes me shiver in the cold and sweeps me with the winter chill of Alaska and makes me completely forget that I am in a tropical country in the middle of a scorching summer noon. Such is the power of this blog to transport you into a time and place you can perhaps experience only in your dreams. The icing on the cake is the kind generous heart of the author that pulsates throughout the four corners of this beautiful blog.

The author of this blog should get down on his knees, beg for my forgiveness, and write me an engraved apology. That's the least he can do for the many times he made me feel like shrinking with insecurity because of the profound ideas he has and the brilliant way he expresses them.

You have a nice blog title to begin with. It puts your reader at ease and a simple tagline gets the full benefit of name recall. I see this is a personal blog so you have no specific subject matter and technical issues to promote, looking at a select readership. But the posts are interesting, and people relate to them easily because we go through the same phase. The stories are refreshingly honest despite the tendency to be depressing, but with all the problems that we have, who isn't? I am not sold entirely on the dark background though. It kinda takes away the 'homey' feel. The color-changing text distract at times. Nice work...

  • Home Loans and Mortgage Refinancing in U.S.A

    Thursday September 18th, 2008 at 08:23 | Rating: 4 | Report

This is obviously a very specialized blog and those not familiar with mortgage and loan topics will struggle to relate to it. However, its significance could not have been more timely as the mortgage sector is in the business news limelight these days, being tagged the culprit behind the US financial breakdown which claimed among its latest casualties Lehman Brothers and Merryl-Lynch. It makes you wonder, why are solutions offered here and in similar blogs, unappreciated by technocrats in the mortgage business? Otherwise, the crash would have been avoided. Just asking. Anyway, the blog also scores high in terms of presentation. The layout and design are very business-like without excessive clutter, and containing mainly the essentials. The color layout is also easy on the eye, and reader-friendly. This is a blog that truly aims to fulfill its intended purpose.

Sir, I wish I'm into football so that I can be more incisive in commenting on your blog. But even for someone not really into the game like myself, your blog never fails to impress. I have always said that I am partial to the minimalist concept and your blog design fits my taste. It is uncluttered and very professional in presentation. There were few fancy graphics other than the truly important ones. Your analysis of the game is consistently intelligent. Also, it is refreshing to find a sports blog bereft of highlight reel shots of famous players. While such photographs will surely earn you points among the fans, it might give away your impartiality to the teams or individual players, which if you ask me is not a good bargain. If I were to put up a sports blog, I will use yours as a pattern and I thank you for that with the inspiration you gave me. This is a blog I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to those who love the game, and to new bloggers like myself who wish to learn a thing or two about a good blog concept.

Hello. I am a new blogger myself so don't expect too much and it will serve you best to take my word with a grain of salt. The layout and content of your blog succeeded admirably in saying a lot about your character. You must be young and idealistic, passionate, and with a good eye for the artistic. The banner is a sight to behold. I love the design and the whole concept, especially the arms-extended pose. Reminds me of the crucifixion and the famous statue the oblation, which is an academic landmark in my country. Your writing is good enough to me, given the fact that like myself, I assume you are not a native English speaker. The white background and understated design concept of your blog are truly refreshing, especially with my preference for minimalism and subtlety. Overall, I love the balance between text and visual embellishments. Keep it up. Having said the pluses, I feel obliged to also mention the minuses. Maybe you should try to write longer blogs. Rants are okay, afterall this is a personal blog where the blogger owns the world. However, there should be something in it to keep your readers captivated, and to be convinced to stretch their very short attention span a little bit longer. I personally struggle with the same challenge every post I make and I cannot claim victory in my battles. However, it is important to remember to keep the same consistent resolve to improve and experiment. The more I feel discouraged, the harder I try. Afterall, I am blogging for me, and not for anyone else. I have no boss to be accountable to but myself. My anonimity is my protection. If I fumble and if I blow it big time, so what? No one will know. And even if someone does, it wouldn't matter to me. Sometimes, the biggest obstacle is our fear of what people would think of us. I have learned that this is counter productive. Am I still making sense? Anyway, I think you have great potential but you just need to focus and be brave enough to keep trying. Good luck.

Here is the blog I will be pushing hard to cite if I get into an argument about content being more relevant than form. Like the hurricane topic that greeted me upon my first visit, this one blog by Jeff Baker sweeps you off your feet. It is like reading a personal letter from a friend. I had been told that writing is an act of courage. I guess it's because when you have reached that certain level of talent, and you become completely confident in your ability to work with words, what propels you is not the talent anymore but the courage to express yourself and risk, judgement, misinterpretation, and even ridicule. The author is refreshingly bold enough to face all that risk and in succeeding, you only get to love what he writes. I would recommend it to my friends...

You're one brave lady to be doing all that biking. On the other hand, your blog is very ladylike. I love the layout and the personal touch you put into it. Reading your blog makes me feel like getting into biking myself. Too bad I was born without balance, without reflexes, but only with lots of sense of humor. So each time I fall or drop something I just laugh about it. I'm glad I discovered your blog and I will be coming back from time to time. I enjoyed it. Thank you.

I really don't understand this ratings system. Your posts are well written but look at the rating that you get. Whatever. I hope my comment would at least help negate the injustice.
