I am a nurse practitioner, author, motivational speaker, consultant and healthy lifestyle expert. I have over 20 years of nursing experience (critical care, cardiology, cardiac cath lab, nursing education instructor, women's heart health) - presently working as a cardiac nurse practitioner. Have lectured extensively to community groups and health care providers on critical care, cardiology, heart disease prevention, healthy lifestyles and wellness. Recently published book "Take Charge: A Woman's Guide to a Healthier Heart", next book due out this fall "Take Charge: A Man's Roadmap to a Healthier Heart." Co-founder of Heartstrong, LLC a health care education and consulting business. We specialize in wellness, health promotion and disease prevention.
