I'm a freelance writer and a happy empty-nester. My husband and I are enjoying the quiet that comes to a house once the kids are grown and on their own. Our three are all married and making babies now, so we tend to pick up and head off for weekends away -- just the two of us. When I'm in town and not in front of the computer, I keep busy spoiling the daylights out of my grandkids.
