Maybe you’re wondering why a girl like me would start a blog like this. I’ve been asked the question, “are you a doctor or therapist?” “Of course not silly.” I’m just a girl having fun with this blog while writing a book, although sometimes I do feel a bit like Dr. Ruth.

Why would I call it Java June’s blog and what’s up with the secret confessions and the Sofa Diary? My inspiration for this blog started with my latest chic lit novel the “Sofa Diary” which features the local hangout- Java June’s Coffee Shop. The proprieties of the shop is June and her interests stem much further than just a good Latte’. The walls of JJ’s coffee shop are littered with secrets and anonymous confessions that have been posted on her gossipy website. That website eventually plays a role in a young girl’s disappearance, a possible murder and Bella’s crazy love life. This novel is still a work in progress, so who knows what could happen or what secrets it will tell.
