"Two aspects come together to make a photographer: The person and the technology. The personal aspect is what makes each photographer different; the individuals unique experiences, values and perspective cause him or her to look at a person or environment and find their treasures. The technology must be applied and mastered in such a way that there is no barrier between what the photographer sees and what the camera records.
"I value the simple refined things in life -- fine art and design, great food, beautiful music, exceptional customer service, and elegant solutions to challenging problems. These values inform what I see through the lens, and how I conduct my business. I honed my problem-solving skills while studying engineering in college and have an exceptional understanding of the photographic tools and technology I use.
"I have always enjoyed putting myself in the middle of situations that test my limits. I have traveled the world and North America extensively - basically I live a life of adventure and will always use the camera to express and bring home my experiences."
