Life in a rural area can be crazy, fun, touching, sweet, and sometimes even bizarre. I'm living in a town, but I grew up in the Middle of Nowhere and "nowhere" is what surrounds this town I now live in with my husband, the editor of a small town newspaper, our young son, our three cats and a crazy chihuahua/jack russel mix. Posts here are crafted sometimes with humor, sometimes with tears, but always with genuine passion for writing. . . something I made a career out of as a reporter for 10 years at small town newspapers.
