I am an artist,an educator and a mother of two inspiring teens.I am contemplative, introspective, obsessive, passionate, protective, demanding of myself and of those I love, a bit idealistic and a believer in happy endings.I love children, especially my own. I love ART…it is everywhere. I adore beautiful minds. I value peace, kindness and quiet. I love the sight of a slumbering child and the sound of my children's breathing when they are comfortably asleep and dreaming. And finally I love to hear people's life stories. Everyone has a story.I try to paint my own.
My art is a reflection of my effort to recognize and embrace the beauty in the world around me, even when it seems most difficult to find. I assure you...it is there...in the eyes of a child, the warmth of the sun or the smell of the earth after a rainfall, beauty can be found. My images reveal my thoughts and dreams. When I create, I do so with a grateful heart, humbled by the gifts of my passion. May you always find beauty in the world around you.258
