I've been married since 2001 to a great writer, photographer, speaker, poet, and all-around fix-it man. He's also a great father. I've experienced a lot of growth as a result of this relationship, but it hasn't been easy. I've been a mother since 2004 of the most beautiful baby girl you'd ever want to see (of course, every mother says this about their new babies!). I struggled during most of my pregnancy, and almost lost her. I learned a lot during this period as well. I also teach biblical studies at a Christian college-prep high school in Georgia, a wonderful job I received right after I completed my Master of Divinity degree at Emory University. I enjoy studying and teaching both Old Testament and New Testament from an academic point of view; it doesn't negate faith at all, but it does open up the scriptures in a way that adds so much richness to one's faith. Let's share in our experiences as women (and men who want to) seeking to gain wisdom and understanding.
