I'm 23 years old and married to an amazing man. He is a Cpl. in the marine corps and was injured by an I.E.D. in April of 2006 losing his left lower leg. He is still going through recovery and we aren't sure when it will be over with. We are just taking it a day at a time, doing everything we can to not lose our minds, and refuse to lose hope. I am not perfect and sometimes stress gets the best of me(as you'll see) but I am human, and a young one at that, that is going through very serious things. I'm just doing the best that I can to juggle being my husbands backbone and still have time for myself. I write this blog to vent, to get away, and to share my story.
