I am a thirty-ish woman. A wife, for 20+ years, to my HS sweetheart (ooh scandalous she married young)and mom to three (sometimes)wonderful kids. I love to crochet and try other crafts as time allows. In 1999 we discovered that our youngest son has a disability that effects every aspect of his life. This experience has taught me more about myself than any other single event in my life. It taught me that I am stronger and tougher that I ever thought possible; and that just as the old saying goes "that which does not kill you makes you stronger. In the last five years I have also had to adjust to the onslaught of Rheumatoid Arthritis. Before you think I am too young for it allow me to clarify that RA is an autoimmune condition in which my body attacks the protective lining of my joints. Sounds like fun, huh??
