My name is Leany Skrtic (pronounced SKIRT-TIC). I am engaged to a sexy geek named Joshua. We live in Brisbane, Australia, with my six year-old son, Tobi, our turtle, Enrique, and Bird Petey Petrovski (aka: The Russian). I am also a freelance graphic designer.

I grew up in Wollongong, NSW but moved to a very small country town when i was about 12 years-old. I am still not sure why my parents decided to uproot the entire family and become hillbillies but thats what happened. I didn’t question them, they were parents, and we all know parents know best.

When visitors came into our small country town we asked: “Y’all aren’t from around here are you” (in a southern accent). That was our excitement for the year.

I started this website in February 2006. But obviously differing from the above I grew up to be a sexy bitch who shed the geeky image by becoming… a BLOGGER.

This website is basically just about my life, my travels, with a few photos thrown in for good measure.
