I began studying Law at the University of Waikato and am completing my LLB through Auckland University currently. I have a strong interest and background in jurisprudence (philosphy of law) and in civil liberties.

I am a former Woman's Rights Officer and Vice President of the Waikato University Students Union and have been involved in both the running and leadership of several civil liberties and charitable organisations.

I worked as a PA/HR Administrator/Legal Assistant until a car accident in March 2008 left me with a permanent neck disability.

I am politically a small "l" libertarian but theologically a conservative Christian.

A previous Open Eventer in my youth, I resumed Equestrian sports a few years back and once recovered sufficiently from my car accident injuries, I hope to be able to work my way back through the Eventing levels.
