I am a native Memphian who has returned to the South after almost 30 years living in New York, San Francisco, and Washington, DC. I have a degree in Political Science, with minors in Journalism and Sociology. I am retired from a career in government that included positions as a Congressional Liaison, a Refugee Specialist,a Military Planner, and Government Operations Consultant. I am a lifelong advocate of the rights of the disadvantaged, minorities, and women. Equality not entitlement.
