I am a writer who started to blog as a way to rid myself of my writer's block. I'm author of three blogs - one focused on parenting, writing, and general philosophical musings on life and the human experience, one which follows the journey and experiences of being a writer, and the other a literary/arts journal.

Ophelia: Hello, I thank you for visiting my site at Dan's08. I see you're a fan of Out of Africa, the movie. I am as well... recently wrote a small piece on my blog inviting people to read the book by Isak Dinesen. I'll be watching "The Ubuntu Journal with interest as I am a writer also.
