After completing a BA Human Sciences degree I spent 7 years as part of the National Gymnastics team representing SA at various World Championships. Upon retiring form competitive sport, Adele and I worked on the Queen Mary 2 for just under two years managing Health and Wellness on board.
During our time on the QM2 I started taking photographs to remember the many places that we saw and people that we met. This interest rolled over into obsession when I started photographing my major passion - African Wildlife.
Photo-Africa was born out of my absolute passion for Wildlife Photography and I hope that the images you find on this site will be able to show a little bit of the magic that is Africa. Working on the field every day and the addition of some great photographers to the site is something I hope will take Photo-Africa to the next level and make it one of the major showcases for African Wildlife & Nature Images.
Even though my main focus ad passion is Wildlife, I have in the past photographed a number of weddings and done hospitality and food photography. This is something I hope to focus on more in future. To see more of my Hospitality Photography, click here.
