Hi! My name is Ryhen Satch, the guy who writes the stuff on Virtual Synapses. I'm currently a freelance writer and a brain surgeon whose only patient is also named Ryhen Satch. I previously worked as a team manager for a reputable company in the Philippines and my job there generally involved coaching and performance management.

My interest falls under a wide range of subjects namely: psychology, philosophy, sociology, management, sales and marketing, science and technology, linguistics, leadership, personal development, Buddhism, music, information technology, and many other boring stuff. You might get the impression that I know so much, but please take note that my short term memory only lasts for a fraction of a second. If I have the ability to store information inside my head any longer than that, my name would spell out like Ryhen Satch Ph.D. M.D. MSc. People will have trouble remembering it so I decided to just stick to something simple.

Just like any other normal person, I also encounter difficulties in life, have many questions about life, and constantly trying to find meaning in life. I created this blog so I can have a place that serves as the extension of my mind. Now that people are virtually connected to each other by the internet, I'm sure some of my thoughts will be able to help other people in finding their own meaning, answering their own questions, and facing their own difficulties.
