I’m originally from Wicklow, Ireland, but managed to permanently escape the cold, wet weather with my family in 1995. The true story about being allowed into the U.S. is that my husband and I got lucky with the lottery visa, but I tell people that America just couldn’t bear to be without my wit and charm. I now live in TX, where I am known for chumming up to people who own boats and cook rib-eye steak on the bar-B.

This year, I celebrate the end of homeschooling my two teenagers, and look forward with a high level of excitement to sleeping in (more than I already do), writing in Starbucks, and eating lots and lots of chocolate.

I also serve as an inner-healing ministry leader, youth pastor, lay counselor, and teacher in my home church. This information should help to explain why I seem to get inside the head of my characters so easily.

I started to write and submit stuff for publication in 2005. I also joined Faithwriters.com, where I was welcomed in as one of their own. I am now in their master level, which is earned based on the number of placements in the weekly writing challenges.

Over the last four years, I have come to develop my own writing style. I write fiction and non-fiction, and my sense of humor is unique. . . . Sometimes, Americans don’t quite understand it, and I will admit that my humor is more European than American.

I own my own freelance editing business. I’m often driven crazy when I see other writers’ spelling and punctuation mistakes, and this business helps me to offset that mental pain.
