I am a wife, a dog owner, a migrant, an Internet enthusiast, a writer, a Barbie-collector and a bridal fashion designer. I moved to Australia from Finland in April 2008, so everything is new and exciting here. I blog about my interests, which include, in addition to the above, human behavior, love and relationships and child free -stuff. My newly added blog contains sometimes controversial dating & relationship tips.

PLEASE NOTE:
Just because you have a blog doesn't mean we're friends, okay?

I will no longer be adding friends that add me just because they did. I appreciate being added to your list, but don't expect me to do the same. The reason is, that by adding everyone that adds me will clutter up the friends list so that it no longer serves a purpose for anyone. My attempt is not to collect every BlogCatalog member on my friends list, just the selected few that I have something in common with. If you wish me to visit your blog, please give me a reason why I should. If you just say you visited my blog and liked it, I don't believe you actually did, because if you had, you would have found something interesting to comment on. If you read it and didn't find anything interesting in there, I see no point of you trying to connect with me.

THE FAIR WARNING: Abusing my shout box will get you marked as a spammer as follows:

SHOUT: "I visited your blog, can you visit mine?"
MY RESPONSE: "No, because I know you didn't read my blog, and now I will mark you as a spammer!"

SHOUT: "Hey, nice blog."
MY RESPONSE: "Thanks. You didn't read it, did you? I'll mark you as a spammer now."

SHOUT: "I added you as a friend, will you add me?"
MY RESPONSE: "Thanks, and no. You didn't read my profile, did you? I'll mark you as a spammer now."

SHOUT: "Hey, I found this great way to promote your blog..."
MY RESPONSE: "No you didn't. If it was great, you wouldn't be wasting my time on my freaking Shout Box but I would be over at your blog reading it already. I'll mark you as a spammer now."

SHOUT: "I went to your blog and ki$$ed your adds, can you do the same?"
MY RESPONSE: "No I can't. That is against the policy of most ad programs, which you would know if you had read the TOS. You do have a habit of not reading things, don't you? I'll add you as a spammer now."

If you are doing what is described above because you simply don't know any other way to promote your blog, please have a look at my favourite blogging tips site: http://bloggingwithsuccess.net/ and subscribe.

I'm not really expecting these people to read my profile, it just makes me feel better that I did give them a fair warning, whether or not they chose to read it.

IF you are STILL reading this, don't be afraid to add me as a friend, send me a shout, email me, add me to your friends list on what ever social network you can find me on or what ever you want to do with my details... My beef is with people who misuse the service purely for their own agenda, and take advantage of others by claiming they like their blog even though they show no sign of ever even visiting it. In my opinion, if you really like someone's blog, you will find something interesting to comment on. If you liked it, but can't think of anything to say about it, just follow the blogger (me), and you can even say that in the shout box, "hey, really liked your blog, followed you, good job!" but don't add: "Please follow me back!" to the end, because that, to me says: "I didn't read your blog, but I hope you're desperate enough for compliments to believe I did, and I just want to make my blog seem super interesting as a lot of people follow it and this is what I do when ever I'm not working - I randomly compliment on other bloggers instead of finding out more efficient and less abusive ways to promote my blog."
