I'm Shirley George Frazier, an 19-year business and small business marketing veteran.

Business is in my blood. My great grandmother is the first entrepreneur I found in my family. She grew strawberries in Virginia and shipped them to New York City in the early 1900s.

I tried many types of small businesses, succeeding at many and documenting what I learned, until I realized that sharing information, through speaking, CDs, DVDs, reports, and in other formats, is what I do best.

I reach my clients through engaging speaking seminars, informative Web sites, online newsletters, and books sold online and in bookstores.

I've appeared on CNBC, The Food Network, The Discovery Channel, and many stations in the New York/New Jersey area. My articles and quotes appear in business, trade, and consumer publications.

I'm the author of Marketing Strategies for the Home-Based Business: Solutions You Can Use Today, How to Start a Home-Based Gift Basket Business, and The Gift Basket Design Book. The latter two books are the world's top selling in its category.
