Steve was born and spent most of his life in the London area. He discovered a passion for wine after a holiday to France more than 25 years ago. He moved to Gozo the smaller sister Island of Malta in 2008 and fell in love with the emerging wine industry. After more than 30 years with the London Fire Brigade he retired as an Officer in 2008. During this time he followed his passion for wine, visiting many of his favorite wine regions around the world in his relentless search for knowledge on the subject. In 2007 he was awarded the WSET Advanced Certificate in Wines & Spirits.
