Growing up as army brat, R.A.P (Rarities Are Possible) always found refuge in music. Born to DJ Rap, who was on the forefront of the New York Hip-Hop movement during its inception in the 1970s and 80s.

While working in PR for Estee Lauder , R.A.P utilized her knowledge to work as a Fashion & Beauty Editor for a local online magazine where she became interested in music journalism and the interests of new artists. Following receiving her BA, from Florida International University(Miami, FL) R.A.P worked in the private sector for over four years. Dissatisfied with the inflexible nature of corporate life, R.A.P worked diligently on the creation of TheEargasm[dot]com and launched the site in Summer 2008.
