I was first exposed to the world of Network Marketing when I was 14 years old. Yes that was in 1980. It had a profound effect on my life. A life of sales and entrepreneurship.

Since that first exposure I have always looked to a home business and mlm. I have had modest success with the Network Marketing companies I had been associated with.

My most successful home based business was my carpet cleaning business. I had over 11 years built it to a comfortable six figure income. It was while I owned Douglas Homecleaning that I discovered marketing. More specifically direct response marketing.

My first mentor was Joe Polish of Piranha Marketing. I have had many since then.

After closing my carpet cleaning business I found myself looking for a real job in years. An employee I am not and I looked to the web. In over three years I have looked atm purchased, and attempted to use many of the money making programs available.

Needless to say I have become somewhat cynical.

That is until I discovered blogging and social networking.

My goal is a simple one. To create value in the community. By creating massive value, my credibility increases. That credibility positions me as the leader to follow. I know that is why we are all here, right?
