This online 'Eco-chic Pet Boutique' was founded in Berkeley, CA by Audrey Rothaus, selling handmade pet collars while she prepared for vet school. A lifelong advocate of environmental causes with a strong sense of style, Audrey wanted to create high quality, eco-friendly pet products that looked great while treading lightly upon the planet. She started making organic, detergent-free pet shampoos and soaps, and designed hand-dyed, hand-printed, hand-made hemp collars, leashes and pet toys. Partnering with a holistically-minded Veterinarian who showed her how profoundly nutrition and environmental toxins impact pet health, Audrey began offering high quality nutritional supplements as well as organic treats for carnivores and herbivores, and soon reached beyond organic to offer hard-to-find items like treats made from grass-fed bison and sustainably harvested wild caught salmon.

This young woman started with a vision of healthy, eco-friendly, sustainable living, then designed her products to embody that lifestyle and her business to promote it. She makes most of what she sells herself; the remainder are products from environmentally sound manufacturers ---like biodegradable pet waste bags, and plush pet beds made with organic and recycled materials.
