Crotchety Old Man Yells At Cars
Friday July 11th, 2008 at 14:40 | Rating: 5 | Report
From being stalked by Nature (okay, turtles and squirrels and stuff-- but SCARY turtles and squirrels)... To hospital visits with hilarity... And a strange Richard Simmons love-hate relationship... the Crotchety One shares his offbeat-- and very funny-- view of life. Prepare to laugh, gasp, be horrified and probably learn more than you ever imagined about adult diapers.

Claire's crazy, effervescent personality bubbles to the surface in her posts. Click through and see her mom-as-cyborg, mad doodling, stunning nature photos and the ever-present Willy. A bit bawdy and uniquely charming, Claire always is up to something quirky and fun.

A naturally funny guy whose take on story-telling is fresh, original and involves deceased barnyard animals far less than his blog title suggests.

I know blogger Sher from a trash-to-treasure forum and have been well-familiar with her blog for a few years now. She puts a lot of effort into the pieces she shares, showing helpful before and after photos, snippets of her life, stories and all sorts of good things related to crafting and the home. When I saw she'd come here to BlogCatalog, I was delighted. So I hope you gang will all give her a good welcome. She's a nice lady, with a great sense of humor!

This clever recycler makes lovely crafts from discarded sweaters... turns curbside finds into relevant home furnishings... and has a good sense of humor the art of dumpster diving.

Fun creative ideas as well as vintage styled crafts and altered art for sale, regular "home-cooking" recipes, and an all-around nice lady. She really nicely mixes up the material she shares with her readers, so it's a visit worth looking forward to.

Extremely well-written, humorous blog posts on a variety of topics. You just don't come across posts where the language is so well-crafted.

Fun, lovely little illustrations-- so marvelous to see the early sketches and then the finished products. Plus nice home-related posts to mix it up. Visiting was a happy break for me.

Delve into the Mind of A Budding Blogger

I hope you will continue to pursue this-- continue writing your short stories, your poems, and sharing them with the online world. Even if people might not comment as much as you like, know that they're out there, just quiet, and know the practice at writing will help you every day in school, and down the road in work, and in life. I was 12 when I wrote my first short mystery novel, so I understand a bit of where you're coming from. I wish you much luck and happiness with it.

Such a fun site for lovers of vintage things. It's a bit like stepping back in time, as you shop for vintage treasures, or join the vintage "housewife" forum (being an actual wife or having a job outside the home does not prevent you from being a part of the fun). Get favorite home cooked recipes, learn about vintage crafts and more.

Beautiful gardening blog based in the Netherlands, with some serious foliage beauty shots. A visit here can feel very transporting. I, in fact, sent this along to a gardening friend and he was thrilled.

Stopping by Anne's blog is bound to make the mouth water... With recipes that seem manageable for regular folks, yet sound really special, the site is a smart resource for new cooking ideas. Plus Anne keeps it continually updated. So really, there's always something cooking with Anne. :-)
