Timothy Sykes is an American hedge fund manager, author the book An American Hedge Fund and star of the television documentary Wall Street Warriors. His feat of turning $12,415 of Bar Mitzvah Gift Money into a fully audited pre-tax sum of $1.65 million while still in college landed him in Trader Monthly's 2006 "Top 30 under 30" and preceded his hedge fund, Cilantro Fund Management, LLC, being the #1 Ranked Short Bias Hedge Fund for 2003-2006 by Barclays. He is a regular CNBC commentator and has been featured on CNN, FOX News, Businessweek, MSN Money, TheStreet.com, CBS Marketwatch, Reuters, Institutional Investor, The New York Times, and The LA Times.
