I have been into investing as my profession from 1996. I have a professional degree in accounting , but I strongly believe it hardly helps. What actually help is ability to take calculated risk ( in fact, it is inevitable that you will loose sometimes, but you need to know how to absorb that loss mentally and learn from that mistake ), ability to learn and self discipline. I make decent money on stock market, but whenever anyone asks me, I tell them to run, don't walk, away from stock market, unless they are willing to make serious commitment towards time and study.
