The author is difficult to categorize. He is serious (and not too serious) on a host of subjects ranging from our current and past wars to The Running of the Bulls at Pamplona, in praise of Sears and the possibility of our moon being made of green cheese. He is also fond of straying governors and senators, ex-presidents and vice presidents, the Bermuda Triangle, War and Peace; Man and Woman.

He has written advertising copy for firms as varied as J&J and AT&T and also toiled for numerous magazines in their sales, promotion and research departments. Several of these publications (actually more than several) are now being published high above or down below.

He is 82 and Still Liberal; a member of the cast of World War II and proud owner of Kindles 1 and 2 – maybe even the forthcoming larger version. Mr. Langer is a long ago graduate of the University of Illinois.
