Alan Hart has over a decade of experience in a variety of business management and marketing areas. He began his career by founding two small businesses and has since worked with companies ranging from start-ups to Fortune 50. Alan works with companies to develop sound strategies and implement effective methods to create value for both the customer and the company shareholders. He has extensive experience with business-to-business and technology companies.

Currently, Alan is leading the qualitative and quantitative research efforts for the leading financial services company to identify best practices and better align national and local marketing efforts across North America. Alan has worked in the telecommunications, media, technology, travel, and financial services industries. He has led projects that cover growth strategy, national and local marketing alignment, marketing performance, customer loyalty and engagement, service marketing, new product and service development, and due diligence.

Prior to joining CMGP, Alan developed product strategies for Dell laptop computers and peripherals. Prior to Dell, he launched a vertical marketing strategy, re-engineered service offerings and pricing, and developed innovative strategies and approaches to enhance business performance at Böwe Bell + Howell, a leading provider of high-performance document management solutions and services. Alan began his career by launching two start-ups – an indoor-billboard advertising company and a marketing services firm.

Alan earned a degree in psychology from North Carolina State University and an M.B.A. from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
