A little bit about myself.....well, I'm from Oklahoma originally. Moved to Arkansas at 9. I'm still a Boomer Sooner at heart. I did pretty much everything growing up. I loved riding horses--running barrels, poles, the like. I did that into High School when I took an interest in boys. And it was kinda downhill from there.

I kid.

Kinda.

Went to college and got a B.S. in Computer Information Systems. I'm not really sure what it's good for at this point other than a nice accent on the wall in my office. But that'll do for now.

I had a little boy in 2005, bought a house of my/our own in 2006. Oh yeah, had my heart broken and wedding canceled that year, too.

Survived.

Been single for two years now since then.

I'm a little bit sarcastic. I'm pretty down-to-earth. LOVE to laugh, LOVE to smile, Love to love, actually. Only been head over heels once and in the end it certainly wasn't what I expected, but the feelings and the effect it had on me was quite addictive. Wouldn't mind trying it again someday, but in the meantime, I have some trust issues to resolve and work past.

I'm kinda brilliant, but I don't say that with pride or ego. Just kinda a forewarning. I love to learn. I love useless knowledge. I see knowledge as empowering. A lot of men are intimidated by a woman with more book smarts than them. I just see it as a balancing factor because typically a man has or is something that puts me on an inferior level, most frequently it's strength.

Let's see. I work for a branch of law enforcement, I'm certified as an officer, but work as the bookkeeper, computer guru, and often-times the holder of the crummy end of the stick. But it's not so bad. I get about half as much money as I should be making and have wayyy too much freedom to do basically whatever crosses my mind (within moral and legal boundaries, of course). I have a cool boss.

Anyway, that kinda sums me up. I work during the days, and I'm an amazing mom to a wonderful little boy the rest of the time!
